poor joe

we live in a small country.. every once in a while, you're confronted with that in an unexpected way.. now take the news that is headlining today at the country's 'best' newspaper-website..

the brutal murder on a seventeen year old over his mp3 player is obviously quite alarming, and press is all over 'the story'.. the kid - named joe - got stabbed in the brussels central station a few days ago..

with joe's name all over the articles and updates being published this week, maybe the paper should modify the reference to the survey 'there's only one' on their same front page.. some 'plaatsvervangende schaamte' for the (web)editor in chief of this newspaper is in place here.. is this country simply too small to put someone with brains (or respect) in this type of powerful media positions?..

for those who cannot check the references in Dutch: it starts like this "The Rose? Poor Joe? or Mia?".. indeed, there was only one of those, and he sure didn't have that much luck.. farewell, joe
